Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working Accounts Receivable and accurately billing patients and third-party payers for medical services rendered.

Duties:

-Prepare and send patient statements
- Review and verify patient insurance information
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain patient billing records in compliance with regulations

Skills:

- Proficiency in medical billing software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required/Nice-to-have Skills:

- Spine, Orthopedic and/or Pain Management Experience is a plus
- Credit analysis
- Financial concepts
- Accounting
- Out of Network Experience
- Technical accounting knowledge
- Journal entries expertise
