Working directly with students and partnering with school counselors, co-founders Jenna Ahn, Giuseppe Iademarco, and Ariel Lau have been striving to break down barriers and open doors to the world’s top universities — no matter where students are based.
 

Today, our global reach spans 46+ countries, and our community includes over 1,600 mentors, each offering empathy and expertise to support students through every step of their academic journey.

 

From foundational essay-writing workshops to fully customized one-on-one mentoring programs, all our products are delivered with care and backed by our smart app that helps students and mentors stay on track with their goals.

About the position

We’re looking for candidates with a broad range of educational experience - whether it’s tutoring students, engaging with parents, hosting or supporting summer programs, or helping to execute educational initiatives. Even short-term or seasonal roles, such as summer program involvement, are highly valued. If you’ve contributed to shaping learning experiences in any setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Location: Malta 

Salary: €27,000-€32,000 | Relocation allowance (flight & first-month accommodation)

Type: Full-time*

* The minimum probation period is 3 months, after which the contract may transition into a permanent position


Responsibilities

As a founding member of both Millie’s Customer Success team and Millie’s new office in Malta, you’ll play a key role in shaping student success while supporting the growth of a global education startup. 

As a Student Success Associate, you will ensure that international students receive the highest quality support throughout their learning journey.

  • Roadmap Design – Collaborate with Guidance Coaches to design personalized Millie student roadmaps.
  • Project Management – Oversee end-to-end student support, from mentor onboarding to session scheduling and last-minute problem-solving.
  • Student Progress Tracking – Assist with logistical coordination, including scheduling meetings and ensuring programs progress smoothly and according to plan.
  • Onboarding & Profile Management – Manage student onboarding, creating and maintaining profiles and LMS pages for streamlined communication.
  • Database Management – Keep a meticulously updated record of student-mentor allocations and session histories.
  • Family Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring they feel supported and confident in our services.
  • Process Ownership – Take ownership of student allocation processes, continuously refining and introducing automation for efficiency.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration – Work closely with operations, product, and sales teams to optimize student success strategies

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
  • International education / background.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, operations, education, student services, educational experiences.
  • Flexibility to work with partners across time zones (Europe, Middle East, Asia)
