Overview of Available Mechanical Engineer Position

Seeking a mechanical engineer to help us grow! Primary responsibility will be modeling and drawing semi standard door systems and systems components based on a set of parameters. Applicants must have hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks software experience, good math skills, ability to meet deadlines and work with a team, have experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications, the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and non-verbally). Having a general knowledge of steel processing is preferred.

Mechanical Engineer

Full-time; Salary commensurate with verifiable experience.

An Engineer at Wellbilt Industries will initially support the engineers with CAD drawing detail, BOM generation, and shop floor control. Working with Wellbilt Industries will give experience in working with small teams, shop floor workflow, and cad modeling, along with working with a large array of field of expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in CAD software modeling (SolidWorks preferred).

General knowledge of the mechanical engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of mechanics of material, Finite element analysis and some dynamics.

Experience in Microsoft 365 preferred.

Experience in welding and using a lathe preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage multiple projects as they move forward.

Design for manufacture a variety of systems and products based on customer’s needs.

Prep shop machines for shop floor manufacturing.

Ensure products are within proper tolerance.

Work with a small company to manage workflow.
