As we expand, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Legal Counsel (Entry-Level) to join our in-house team.

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a recent law graduate or a soon-to-be licensed attorney to gain hands-on experience in the fields of collections, commercial law, and client negotiation. The role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, legal acumen, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced business environment.

You will play a key role in supporting our legal collection efforts, engaging directly with clients and their counsel, and helping manage contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support collections and recovery efforts, including direct communication with business owners, legal representatives, and third parties.
• Draft and review collection letters, payment agreements, and settlement documents.
• Participate in negotiation processes with delinquent clients.
• Monitor and analyze client compliance with financing agreements.
• Support external legal processes, including litigation coordination and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate legal records and tracking systems for outstanding cases.
• Assist in developing internal policies and procedures relating to collections and legal risk.

Requirements

• LL.B. degree completed or in the final semester.
• Eligible for the Bar exam or recently licensed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle client-facing conversations.
• Interest in commercial law, collections, and business finance.
• Full-time availability for on-site work in Sunny Isles Beach or Doral, Florida, starting May 2025.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a legal internship, collections, or client negotiations.
• Familiarity with U.S. legal procedures and documentation.
• Comfortable working in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.
