Library/Media Specialist
Job Description: Certified Position
- Library/Media Specialist in a K-4 building with approximately 440 students currently enrolled.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom where student needs are met through the standards based curriculum, instruction is delivered and progress is measured through consistent assessment; Maintain day to day operations of the library
- Handle ordering of all library supplies and books
- Oversee building technology in regard to laptop check-out and repairs
- Establish a culture of love for literature
- Collaborate with and assist Technology teacher with creation and implementation of lessons; Other duties as assigned.

- Contract 190 days; 7.5 hrs/day
Job Requirements:
- Strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Very proficient at accessing and using a variety of media
- Ability to deliver professional development to staff as requested
- Valid IN Teaching License required in elementary education.
