Summer Fellowship Program

Description

The Takeoff Fellowship is an 8-week intensive program to help prepare Black undergraduate students with the skills they need to succeed in the real world. Fellows are paired with an Advisor to develop a strategy, research an industry and present their findings and key takeaways. This program can be done in conjunction with another internship or summer classes. Fellows are expected to dedicate 10 hours a week to the Fellowship.

Position Description & Responsibilities

The Takeoff Institute provides resources and mentorship specifically tailored for Black undergraduate students. Our intensive 8-week Summer Fellowship program provides students with the opportunity to develop professional and interpersonal skills, work with leaders in their desired field, and jump-start their careers. Fellows will be matched with a mentor, who they will support over the course of the summer in completing a project.
