Job Description and Duties 

Under the direction of the Cultural and Historic Resources Unit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for cultural resources support services for the Department and especially the continued operation and maintenance of the State Water Project (SWP), including planning and conducting archaeological field surveys and assisting with natural resources surveys. Duties also include working closely with Tribes, federal partners, and other State agencies; and preparation of documentation for  California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and other State and federal environmental regulations.
