Assistant Teacher
Tiny Treasures of Grace is a registered childcare ministry with the State of Indiana, providing early childhood care and training for children 6 wks through 6 years of age. We have four programs: Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Kindergarten Prep. Several of our staff are degreed teachers, with education ranging from associates to doctoral degrees. Interns are supervised at all times by teachers and receive hands-on experience in carrying out lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and caring for the basic physical needs of young children. One of our goals for interns is to have experience with all four age groups of our program from infants to children ready for Kindergarten. This enables them to experience and assess the needs and abilities of children at all ages who are rapidly maturing at these ages.
