Summer Camp Counselor

Circle Pines Center is looking for Summer Camp Counselors!

Circle Pines Center is a cooperative nonprofit deep in the woods of southwest Michigan. With a long lineage of music, activism, environmentalism, and community building, CPC provides a camp experience like no other. A hike down the North Country Trail, an afternoon at Stewart Lake, or a long night of folk dancing await you, as do many new experiences and friends!

A counselor at Circle Pines will supervise and engage with campers from the ages of 7-17. Broken down by age groups (units), the following positions for counselors are available.

Acorns: 7 - 10 yrs old

Juniors: 11 - 13

Youthies: 13 - 15

YALs: 15 - 17

Staff will receive a starting salary of $1750 + room and board for the duration of their stay.

During a 10 day orientation period before camp, staff will receive first aid certification, tour the property, play games and hang out around the campfire, and plan afternoon and evening activities for camp, like Capture the Flag, Songwriting, Improv Games, and MadBall, (It's like kickball but mad).
