Human Resources Co-Op/Intern

FishHawk site located in Lithia, FL

Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

 

Term: September 9 to December 20, 2024

Full time Co-Op/Internship. Hybrid.

Typically 36-40hrs a week.

 

Human Resources Co-Op/Intern  

As a Human Resources Co-Op/Intern you will be ready to kickstart your career and build real-world experience with talent acquisition, payroll, benefits and leaves, and HR data management as a member of our NA Shared Services team.

 

What will you do?

  • Recruiting Activities
  • Payroll preparations
  • HR Data Management
  • Access Requests
  • Electronic Filing
  • HR related projects
  • Working with a wide range of people including management, production operations, and functional employees. 
  • Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

What do you need for this role?  

  • Sophomore level or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business
  • 2.75 GPA or higher  
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with visualization/reporting tools considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience using data to strengthen decision-making capabilities. 
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and ensure confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment 
  • Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward 
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships and networks 
  • Strong customer service aptitude and drive to negotiate and capture savings
