Fort Wayne Civic Theatre is offering a Paid Technical Theater Production internship for Fall Semester 2024! Come join our team!

This position is for individuals looking to enhance their technical theatre skills in the following areas: painting/sketching, prop making, construction, electrical, lighting design, costuming, sewing, rigging, sound engineering, and sound design.
Gain valuable experience while working alongside Theatre Industry Professionals!
Approximate Internship Length: August 12th, 2024 - December 5th, 2024

Qualifications:
Must be a 2-year or 4-year college/university student with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Or a recent graduate who completed the degree no more than six months prior to the start of the internship.
Must have an interest or background in Technical Theatre. Prior experience is not necessary.
The approximate dates for the internship are August 12th, 2024 - December 5th, 2024. Schedule may be adjusted depending on applicant's availability.
Internship must be for at least 12 hours per week.
This position is ideal for multi-talented Theater or Art students seeking on-the-job production experience and a desire to refine and showcase existing talents as well as learn new skills.
