Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op - Fall 2024 - Fort Wayne, IN

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the team to apply troubleshooting and root cause analysis methods, ensuring the resolution of issues with well-documented results.
  • Provide support for new projects from development to delivery, building responsibility for long-term considerations in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Assist in the qualification and validation activities related to manufacturing equipment and special processes.
  • Design and implement production processes and methods, with a focus on ensuring process capabilities meet the business requirements.
  • Develop and document work instructions to sustain manufacturing proficiencies.

What You'll Need:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, biomedical engineering or related area of study with at least a junior standing.
  • Anticipated target graduation date December 2024 – May 2026.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week onsite during the fall semester co-op out of our Fort Wayne, IN facility.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
  • Ability to work now and in the future without any sponsorship.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, encompassing both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical application.
