Pool Supervisor & EMT

Sol Duc Hot Springs Resorts are surrounded by towering evergreens along the Sol Duc River in a picturesque valley. In addition to the pools, Sol Duc hosts massage therapists, a poolside deli, a restaurant, a gift shop, and a convenience store. 

The Pool Supervisor & EMT ensures the safety of patrons of our aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Welcome and accommodate guests and staff in an effective and courteous manner. Handle customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $22. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.​

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

•    Makes decisions that directly affect the guests’ experience in a positive fashion
•    Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. 
•    Maintain pool supplies budget 
•    Responsible for enforcing property and pool specific rules. 
•    Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. 
•    Performs various maintenance duties as advised to maintain a clean and safe facility. 
•    Prepares and maintains appropriate pool reports for location and NPS. 
•    Display a working knowledge of emergency procedures so that employee and guest safety will be insured. 
•    Participates in the Quality Assurance Programs that include daily inspections and reviews to address areas in need of improvement. 
•    Follows Aramark policies and procedures, National Park Service requirements and safety policies. 
•    Responsible for the planning and execution of the successful pool operations 
•    Manage the Pool proactively to reduce pool maintenance costs. 
•    Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the General Manager.

Qualifications

•    High school diploma or equivalent is required.  
•    2-3 years’ supervisory experience in Pool Operations or Management
•    Must be proficient in CPR/ First Aid, emergency response 
•    Two years’ experience leading others who engage in customer and client relations

  • EMT certified

•    Ability to certify Lifeguards in American Red Cross certification  

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
