Property Systems Intern

Looking to build the foundation for your career in real estate? The Greystar Summer Internship Program is a 10-week immersive opportunity in which interns discover new skills and gain hands-on experience while working for the leading multifamily real estate developer, investor, owner, and operator. As a Greystar intern, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our business – development & construction, investment management, property management, and enterprise services – through daily work experience, intern events, and workshops including:

Provides technical support, problem resolution, and maintenance of the Entrata property management system.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day support, administration, and maintenance of the Entrata platform.
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within Entrata.
  • Work closely with Entrata support personnel to identify solutions
  • Tracks, documents, and resolves user requests and requirements utilizing the support center call tracking software.
  • Gathers information and reports on user support issues, trends, and other areas factors related to support issues, and works with appropriate team members to assist in developing solutions that enable greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assists with small group training on systems applications as necessary.
  • Oversee and/or assist with gathering system requirements, design, development, testing, and system roll-out, including preparing senior management reporting on results.
  • Develops technical reports, documents, user support, and technical manuals to support systems and software training, and prepares detailed functional program specifications for reports, interfaces, and other modules.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs to complete required reports and produce necessary communication materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse group.
  • Ability to work independently and as member of a team.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
  • Work with customers to understand their concerns, needs and resolve tickets within SLA.
  • Support multiple instances of the platform including test, and production.
  • Supports project personnel in resolving complex program problems.
  • Knowledge of or experience in on-site property operations in order to better understand the tasks, activities, and functions performed in the daily operation of the community is preferred.
