Enterprise Risk Analyst Internship - Summer 2024

General Summary:
As an Enterprise Risk Analyst Intern you will assist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining documentation, policies, reports, records, and processes in support of Enterprise Risk Management Department (ERM) roles, responsibilities, and objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in performing risk management responsibilities in a professional manner, in accordance with Enterprise Risk Management Department policies and procedures.
  • Assists in quality assurance by testing compliance of ERM processes with procedures/documentation.
  • Assists in developing, enhancing, and maintaining ERM documentation, risk policies, and risk reports.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain department shared drive and SharePoint directories, in accordance with ERM procedures.
  • Provides verbal updates to department management during and at conclusion of an assignment.

 

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge at a level normally acquired through the completion of three years of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, finance, economics, accounting, or related field of study. Master’s degree is beneficial.
  • Strong technical skills required. Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Proficiency or experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and/or SharePoint are preferred.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with FHLB personnel.
