About this Opportunity:

  • Students will be exposed to and engaged with product development, from concept to prototype and release to production
  • Learn schematic capture tool, work with test equipment such as Oscilloscope, rework and debug process in the lab
  • Students will help with design, work with experts in the field, help in testing, documenting test results


Preferred Skills:

  • Understand basics of Circuit theory
  • Have taken some of the electrical engineering courses and done lab work
  • Ability to learn new tools in design and testing
  • Capability to effectively work cross-functionally
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent analytical, report writing and problem solving skills
  • Read and understand engineering drawings
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
     

Key highlights of role:

  • Exposure to product definition and development for Hyperscale products
  • Understanding of the full life cycle of product development in Networking, storage and servers
  • Working closely with experienced design engineers and learning design practices
     

Physical Demands:

  • Normal office environment with exposure to manufacturing environment
  • May require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
  • Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.)
