Software Billing Specialist
Job Description – Software Billing Specialist
- Assemble and review documentation, perform computations, and issue invoices for complex software contract sales
- Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition for multiple element software contracts
- Calculate and issue billings related to maintenance contracts
- Partner with internal stakeholders to review revenue impacts of new contracts & contract changes and provide data and reports as needed
- Coordinate contract renewal and cash collection efforts with the sales management team
- Coordinate with non-US staff to process sales for foreign affiliate offices
- Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers regarding invoices, payments, billing discrepancies and contract clarification requests
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
- Familiarity with billing experience preferably in software licensing and support
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and with customers
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 a plus)
- Experience with foreign currency transactions a plus
