Prospect Manager and Stewardship Officer Career Opportunity

Dartmouth College seeks a Prospect Manager and Stewardship Officer to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Advancement.  This successful candidate will be responsible for tracking the SVP’s principal gift prospect pool to ensure comprehensive cultivation, solicitation, negotiation, and stewardship including visits, correspondence, and events involving the SVP and other senior leaders.  This role will work closely with the Chief of Staff on goal setting, prospect strategy, and planning and execution to deliver a sustainable $100M+ in new gifts and commitments annually. 

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience in a complex environment with preference for college or university development office experience.  The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills; project management and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.  The successful candidate will also need the ability to lead cross functional projects, be resourceful, and results and goal oriented.  Demonstrated success in working with top internal management and high-end clients or donors as evidenced through professional references.
