Market Intelligence Intern – Spring 2024

About the Role:

Are you an inquisitive marketing or market research student ready to dive into the realm of storytelling and insights? We're looking for a dynamic individual who thrives on curiosity, passion, and the art of turning data into captivating narratives.  We are looking for someone who is curious and creative but also detail-oriented, organized, a problem-solver and passionate about data, insights and storytelling!

You will:

  • Analyze market data to uncover golden nuggets of insight that steer our organization's decisions.
  • Disseminate these insights across our collaborative platforms, fueling innovation and collective growth.
  • Collaborate with analysts to craft customer-facing reports that are as informative as they are compelling.
  • Transform diverse datasets into actionable research and trend reports that set the course for the future.
  • Dive deep into market, packaging, and Food & Beverages trends, and decode consumer behavior to shape our path forward.
  • Be the driving force behind daily, weekly, and monthly market intelligence materials.
  • Embrace the unexpected by tackling ad hoc analyses and fulfilling the needs of our valued customers.
  • Contribute to report creation, where words, analysis, and visuals harmonize in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.

We support flexible working, as such this position can be performed remotely in northwest Ohio.

 

About You:

  • You love glass and care about sustainability and the planet.
  • You’re actively enrolled in an accredited college and/or university pursuing a B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, and/or Market Research
  • You have ability to gather, integrate, analyze and visualize intelligence from multiple sources, willing to use creative ways to gather intelligence
  • Ability to run basic statistical analyses (i.e.,  deriving market share, growth projections, compounded annual growth rate, etc.);
  • Familiarity with BI visualization tools such as Power BI;
  • You’re a good communicator in English with strong ability to be proactive and show initiative
  • Good team player
  • You love challenges, working in a very collaborative environment
