Construction Laborer

University Housing at SIUE is seeking to fill the role of Construction-Laborer to assist in the clean-up support and construction demolition to all trades at University Housing Facilities Management. They are responsible for the clean up after work in occupied spaces and buildings, and maintaining a clean and safe space for residents. The laborer's ability to provide clean-up support, in addition to other tasks including pick up of construction materials, is critical in work flow and repairing spaces in a timely fashion for residents and meet their expectations and needs for their living space.

Additional responsibilities include:

-Maintenance and construction of retaining walls.

-Perform exterior drainage correction and excavation support.

-Responsible for picking-up materials from vendors, unload construction materials and deliver to respective job sites.

-Responsible for layout, pour and finish concrete; asphalt repair and sealing; tuck point and masonry repair.
