Finance Accounting (FACT) Summer Internship Program

As a Finance or Accounting Intern you will have the opportunity to participate in finance activities, activities while improving your reporting and analysis skills as well as enhancing your knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles. You will be placed in one of the following accounting related areas for the summer: Business Unit Finance (Consumer, Commercial, Enterprise), Corporate Accounting, or Treasury.

NOTE: THIS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM BEGINS JUNE 2024

As a FACT intern you can expect to:

• Provide analytical support to daily/ monthly / quarterly reporting process.
• Provide detailed analysis of critical areas including research and reporting
• Gain exposure to Finance teams and learn about the services and delivery channels utilized to support CFG’s enterprise.
• Assist in recurring management reporting preparation, consolidation, and analysis for review with senior management.  Participate in month-end close/ forecast preparation and related control functions.
• Ad hoc and additional assignments across various divisions and finance teams.

Qualifications:

• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly excel.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related degree
• Expected graduation date of May 2025
• Minimum GPA 3.5
