Technology Engineer Intern (or Co-op)

We are a global chemical company and one of the nation's leading manufacturers of agricultural products. Our Hannibal plant is built to manufacture high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner. We occasionally have the need for contingent labor, and that's where you come in. This is a paid, full-time, temporary position. If chosen, you will report to a manager/mentor who will provide you with oversight and details of your assignments.
The scope of assignments for this role will vary, but will likely include work on several long-term projects and short-term projects involving:
  1. Update Revysol, Chlorofenapyr, Pendimethalin, and Kixor yield Tracking 
  2. Generate Pendimethalin Mass Balance 
  3. Include SAR mass balance 
  4. Start with Prowl aqueous waste generation 
  5. Utilize PD and QC Lab for stream analysis as needed 
  6. Digitalize Hannibal Engineering documentation 
  7. Scan engineering job books, categorize and store information appropriately 
  8. Utilize Hannibal EQUIP folder when possible 
  9. Support evaluation of Pendi longterm trends 
  10. Support evaluation and implementation of Revysol ML extraction project 
  11. Support Methylation Kinetic Model Development 
  12. Support SAR reliability measurement analyze – pressure data and stick test data 
  13. Support Kixor Cyclization Fractionation column startup 
  14. Develop algorithm for virtual analyzers for 
  15. Triazole/DMF solution 
  16. DMF column bottoms  
  17. DMSu column overheads 
 Required and Preferred Qualifications:  Mass and Energy Transfer Course; Some Programming Knowledge 
This job pays an hourly wage (depending on experience) for a 40-hour week, plus an additional housing stipend for each month. This job may last 3-9 months depending on your availability.
