Production Engineer Summer Intern (for Formulations & Packaging Unit )

We are a global chemical company and one of the nation's leading manufacturers of agricultural products. Our Hannibal plant is built to manufacture high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner. We occasionally have the need for contingent labor, and that's where you come in. This is a paid, full-time, temporary position. If chosen, you will report to a manager/mentor who will provide you with oversight and details of your assignments.
The scope of assignments for this role will vary, but will likely include:
Daily interaction with Operations staff, Engineers, Managers, and Supervisors in a Formulations and Packaging Unit at Hannibal Site BASF in Palmyra, Missouri.
- Assist in creation of Piping & Instrumentation Drawings for Prowl (Herbicide) Tech Header 
- Assist in modifications of Formulations & Packaging Unit procedures (temp/permanent) & SOP’s 
- Assist in Identifying and correcting documentation with old product names 
- Identify DCS Alarms/Interlocks not available to operators. Work with I&E Engineers to correct 
- Create a critical setpoint/interlock spreadsheet/cheat sheet to assist in new operator training 
- Assist in new technical training sheets to strengthen Operator’s tech/Eng level & knowledge
This job pays an hourly wage (depending on experience) for a 40-hour week, plus an additional housing stipend for each month.
