Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering to join our electrical engineering team in determining the best options for our Mobile Power Station®. This position performs and reviews the analysis and design activities in completing complex engineering design projects from general drawings and instructions. Provides detailed electrical designs for high and low voltage systems. Assumes responsibility for technical accuracy and manufacturability of finished designs. Serves as lead engineer on projects. Performs thorough checking of electrical design packages. Mentor and help grow the department in experience and resources.

The requirement of this position is to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. experience in electrical engineering. Knowledge of grid power systems. Must be able to work as part of a team that includes multiple engineering disciplines. Planning and load balancing capabilities to meet deadlines. Familiar with SolidWorks Electrical or other similar software. Self-motivated. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Problem solving capabilities. Understand and meet deadlines. Able to multitask and not get confused by competing projects. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. We will give preference to those who have 3+ years experience running projects. Experience with electrification of vehicles. Knowledge of controls systems, and of vehicle data interfaces (CAN mostly). Knowledge of functional safety and ASIL levels. Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Lean Six Sigma Training – Green belt certification or higher.
