Grocery DC Information Technology & Systems Manager

As a Grocery DC Information Technology & Systems Manager, you’ll spend your days leading your team of systems associates to maintain and support the hardware and systems to help our associates deliver for our customers.  We are continually modernizing our technology and you will help ensure that technology is at peak performance and stays up to date.  You will work alongside your site operations leadership to help identify, drive, and facilitate communications of any systems impacting downtime events. You will partner with the Divisional Systems Support Team and other Global tech teams to obtain and share the resolution and root cause path forward to your site operations leadership, which will drive your site’s stability and performance.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide the insights necessary for those teams to learn and understand your site and how it functions.  You’ll collaborate with project and product teams who will look to you as a trusted partner, a subject matter expert of your site and its operations.   You will help drive fiscal end user device management that help keep your site always ready for peak volume year-round.

  • Driving impacting incidents to resolution while working with your Divisional team to identify root cause and preventive actions.
  • Leading the facility through technological improvements regarding warehouse management systems, IoT initiatives, wireless coverage, and hardware/software solutions for an improved associate experience.
  • Enable our associates to have a successful the day through driving first of the day and end of day efficiencies by ensuring equipment is ready to go and works every time
  • Encouraging and empowering Supply Chain Grocery Systems teams through knowledge sharing and training to increase technical knowledge and support.

Preferred Skills…

  • Strong knowledge of Wired and Wireless Networking Infrastructure such as access points, switches, DNS, TCP/IP and IDF cabinets.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server infrastructure and how the servers function in a vHost managed environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware devices and device management
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based applications.
