Programs Officer

Company: The Arts Federation -

The Arts Federation (TAF) is the umbrella organization and arts council for fourteen Indiana Counties (Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Newton, Montgomery, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren, and White). TAF provides educational opportunities in the visual, performing, and literary arts, outreach programs for both underserved communities and youth, and funding for capital and operational expenses to fellow arts organizations region-wide. Established in 1976, TAF serves as the model for arts advocacy and demonstrates best practices to peer organizations statewide.

You would be one of four officers at TAF working with a small staff. You will receive on-site training and will be required to take the initiative to make things happen. This position will be a learn-as-you-go.


Qualifications:

This position requires strong oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. The ability to perform multiple tasks within deadlines is expected. Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Art Education, English, Communications, Fine Arts, or a related area is desired. The selected individual will work within a small team of committed staff members who work together to achieve the goals of The Arts Federation
