Long Term Substitute Teacher – High School & Middle School Choir/Music

Position: Long Term Substitute Teacher – High School & Middle School Choir/Music

·   PK-12 Music Licensure from Ohio Department of Education. (Preferred but not required.)

·   Valid 2023-2024 State Department of Education Substitute License.

·   Possess effective teaching strategies for Music.

·   Experience directing music.

·   Experience rehearsing a large group (possibly 30-40 students).

·   Implements the absent teacher’s prepared lesson plans.

·   Demonstrate connection and communication with community members, stakeholders and school staff.

·   Provides opportunities for all students to participate in an inclusive educational environment.

·   Creative and student centered.

·   Evaluates student academic needs/learning styles. Identifies opportunities to enhance learning.

·   Has a passion and desire to teach the student body at Archbold Schools.

·   Facilitates student-learning activities that encourage teamwork and positive peer relationships.
