Finance Analyst - Prepared Foods

Summary:
This position will report to the Sr. Finance Manager of Prepared Foods and will be responsible for managing internal financial reporting for all 35 Prepared Foods Plants. Executing key activities during period close and monthly forecasting, as well as helping manage and roll up the annual planning process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with management and staff to plan, forecast, communicate, and monitor weekly and monthly results effectively and accurately. Contribute to the preparation, roll up and analysis of the monthly forecast estimate, quarterly projection, and annual operating plan. Own the reporting and analysis activity assigned by the Manager to contribute to effective decision-making by the business. Track financial results of the business through weekly Variance reporting. Execute financial analyses in support of the business including perform various activities as part of close forecasting annual planning. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to support the business. Support plants and operations with Fixed Asset payback and Post Audit analysis. Develop, modernize, and streamline current reporting procedures to facilitate an accurate efficient error free process. Ensure plants are SOX 404 compliant by facilitating the consolidation of internal and external audit requirements. Document and maintain work instructions for the Plant and Prepared Foods Group closing process. Other duties where necessary.  
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.

Experience: 1- 3 years experience in Finance, or applicable education/degree. Previous CPG experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess strong prioritization and organizational skills. Advanced excel skills and database maintenance. PowerBI experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills required including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leader.
