Sports Production Assistant/Entry Level

FOX Sports is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The Production Assistant will work on FS1’s daily morning show The Carton Show. You will be responsible for cutting video, handling a large daily workload of video elements under deadline, and pitching topic ideas to the lead producers. The Production Assistant should be a sports fanatic with a creative mind and some knowledge of TV production.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cutting video b-rolls, SOTs, etc.
  • Researching topics and news of the day
  • Pitching story ideas to Producer & CP
  •  
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Experience in television production
  • Vast knowledge of sports
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Familiarity with iNews and video editing software

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $19.75-20.06 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
