Summer Intern, Marketing – The Midland Theatre
AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The AEG Presents intern will assist with marketing operations and have a behind-the-scenes look at a historic Kansas City venue while having the opportunity to shadow other departments. This role will expose the intern to a well-rounded understanding of show production.
Responsibilities:
- Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
- Manage venue social media organic content, including copywriting, photos, image creation and editing
- Assist with securing media for events and escorting media at events
- Collaborate in creating ad plans for shows
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Photography assistance at events as needed
Qualifications:
- Passion for live entertainment
- Interest in marketing and social media
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Office – EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint specifically
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
