Human Resources Associate Intern

As a Human Resources Associate Intern you will gain exposure and growth expertise on a wide palette of HR initiatives while being involved in delivering business-critical projects. Our internships provide you with an opportunity to gain real world experience and make an immediate impact at HPE.  You’ll get assigned meaningful projects, gain exposure to leaders, and connect with other interns.  Key aspects of our internship program include learning and professional development, social and networking events, and volunteer opportunities.
How you’ll make your mark
As a HR Associate Intern, you will work in 1 of 3 areas as described below.

  • HR Business Partner/Advisor:
  • You will support HR program implementation within businesses with guidance and training.
  • You will work with employee data to provide research materials used for program delivery.
  • You will develop a broad understanding of human resources policies, functions, and programs.
  • You will work with employee data to provide research materials used for program delivery.
  • You will partner with multiple stakeholders, to participate in and drive global strategic and operational projects including but not limited to those focused on process and technology improvements, change management initiatives, training, and end-user support.
  • You will provide business management expertise to measure business impact, return on investment, and other relevant metrics, ensuring business process execution from beginning to end.
  • You will partner with stakeholders to identify the capabilities needed by employees to achieve business growth, revenue, and profit objectives.
About you

  • You are currently enrolled full-time in a Master’s or HR-Focused MBA program and interested in a career in Human Resources
  • You are comfortable working with large data sets and have a data-driven approach to decision making
  • You seek out what’s next, always three steps ahead and delivering exceptional results
  • You are collaborative, solution focused and act with a sense of urgency
  • You embrace new ideas and fresh thinking and seek out ideas different than your own
  • You are an active leader on campus who strives to make a positive impact on the world.
  • You have excellent written communication and verbal skills
  • You have demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • You have good project management skills
  • Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • You are fully comfortable working in a hybrid (virtual and face-to-face) environment
  • You have a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
