Sr. Energy Analyst / Engineer - Remote

Your Opportunity
We are actively seeking Senior Energy Analyst/Engineer to support our Building Sciences GroupYou will have the opportunity to work with dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams on innovative projects. We are seeking someone that is passionate about making an impact in the built environment.
 
Your Impact
In this role you will:
  • Manage and lead multiple energy consulting projects and teams concurrently.
  • Advise building owners and architects on sustainable design and operational strategies.
  • Provide and oversee energy consulting services for new construction and existing buildings.
  • Support energy auditing, retro-commissioning, and other building optimization services.
  • Develop net-zero energy & carbon neutrality plans for buildings, campuses, and portfolios.
 
What You Bring – Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Building Sciences, or other related technical fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in the sustainable building design or energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable building design, and decarbonized energy systems.
  • Knowledge of energy codes and standards (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, Title 24).
  • Building Energy modeling experience (IES-VE, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, CBECC-com, etc.).
  • Ability to provide advanced data analytics and clearly communicate results.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Experience presenting technical/analytical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with district energy, central utility plants and electrified heating system.
  • Experience with climate action, sustainability, resiliency and/or energy master planning.
  • Experience with renewable energy, DERs, microgrids and EV charging infrastructure.
  • Experience with parametric building design tools using Rhino/Grasshopper (Ladybug, Honeybee).
  • Programming and data analytics (Python, R, SQL, VBA, etc.).
  • Business analytics and dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Applicable certifications and licenses (PE, LEED AP, CEM, BEMP).
