Entry Level Quality Engineer

Join a diverse team that supports the mission of the US Navy! Quality Engineering and Assessment (QE&A) provides direct support of the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) Quality Assurance Program through development and maintenance of quality processes and requirements, consultation with other NRF departments and external organizations, and independent review and assessment of quality processes. Assist with internal and external audits to validate compliance with various requirements. The individual selected will be expected to develop a general knowledge of all applicable quality requirements and will be expected to routinely interact with management and employees throughout NRF to clarify existing policies, procedures, requirements, and program standards. They will also be required to work independently under an assigned mentor. Minimal travel may be required.

REQUIRED SKILLS *

Associate:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university

Intermediate:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in a degree in a technical, engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of relevant experience; or Currently or previously EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or SRE Qualification
