Research Intern (Fall Semester)

Overview

Knowledge Services, a Fishers-based consulting and technology company, is currently hiring a Research Intern to join our team of dedicated communicators who will support both our Market Research and Proposal Teams. The Research Intern will be responsible for providing primary and secondary research, data mining, and analysis. Additionally in this role you will be responsible for co-managing the proposal development process in response to new business opportunities.
 
The Marketing Team is dynamic, goal-oriented, and strives for excellence in service to our internal and external audiences. As a member of the Marketing Team, this position will participate in marketing strategy sessions, content ideation, and be a leader in advancing our company’s culture.

This role is a part-time fall internship in our Fisher office.
 

Responsibilities

  • Research and Analyze:
  • Cybersecurity initiatives focused on improving government security
  • Business development opportunities
  • Thought leader expertise
  • Written works
  • Program support
  • Organizing and maintaining content library
  • Researches and writes print and digital content, such as business proposals, grants, white papers, marketing copy, digital copy, articles, blogs, and more
  • Crafts messages to meet the intended positioning goals in a persuasive and compelling manner
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Team and other internal business stakeholders, including Executive and Sales Team Members, to develop content in a unified voice that showcases and effectively positions the brand, corporate culture, and products and services offered
  • HubSpot management 

Qualifications

  • College courses in Communications, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science or related fields preferred
  • Prior research, data mining, and/or data analysis experience preferred
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative statistics or analysis preferred
  • Ability to analyze multiple data sets to apply strategic thinking
  • Ability to produce high quality, well organized and compelling conclusions, supported by data
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and collaborate well with others
  • Organization and project management skills preferred
