Cybersecurity Consultant 2023

Mazars is seeking high-performing studentsto join the Cybersecurity team in our Pennsylvania office. As Cybersecurity Consultant you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence while working with other cyber professionals and interacting with valued clients.

Mazars is looking for a Cyber Consultant to join our rapidly growing Consulting team! The ideal candidate will be able to develop and provide innovative solutions for our clients.  Our Consultants work as part of a consulting team forming close relationships with colleagues as well as key client stakeholders.

The Consultant is expected to play a significant role in client engagements, focusing primarily on executing project roles which will drive client satisfaction. Our Consultants are also encouraged to maintain additional internal (non-client) responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is required
  • Understanding and knowledge to include deployment, configuration and support of security technology including firewall, SIEM, EDR, DLP, web filtering, mail filtering.
  • Experience with and understanding of security and privacy frameworks including NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST.
  • Ability to configure and run vulnerability assessment tools and interpret results.
  • Knowledge of incident response and forensic response process and procedure, experience in AccessData FTK or other forensic toolset.
  • Technical writing skills to document findings and produce reports and deliverables.
  • Skills listed above can be Internships, classwork or real-world projects.
  • MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.

  • Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple commitments and tasks.

The ideal candidate would have related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function in one or more of the following areas:

  • Performing technical security assessments such as vulnerability assessments, network penetration tests, wireless security assessments, web application security assessments, and social engineering
  • Assessing, designing, and implementing asset management solutions, including performing asset discovery and profiling
  • Assessing, designing, and implementing threat and vulnerability management solutions
  • Assessing, designing, and implementing end-point security solutions and platforms
  • Assessing, designing, and implementing security logging and monitoring solutions and platforms
