Americas Network Operations, within the Business Division Express, is looking for an Americas Process Engineering Intern.
Key Responsibilities for Americas Process Engineering Intern:
  • Ability to support Time and Motion Studies for operations within AM Region by developing an updated database tool of standard times for SVC Inbound/Outbound processes
  • Ability to test and validate different methods for time measurement and provide guidance on which method should be used depending on the characteristics of the operation
  • Ability to map a whole process and determine time and resources needed based on the standard time database
  • Contribute to redesign the Americas Engineering SharePoint
  • Contribute to the creation of shared spaces to manage data and tools
What skills & attributes are we looking for in an Americas Process Engineering Intern?
  • Education path for BS/BA in related discipline – Industrial or Process Engineering, operations research, logistics or other related fields
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Macros) and VBA
  • Preferred experience in Visio, MS Project
  • SharePoint knowledge.
  • Office 365
  • Preferred basic knowledge on SQL server
  • Process mapping skills
  • Experience on time and motion studies (Methods-Time Measurement MTM) and Ergonomics
  • Creative and open mindset
  • Analytical mindset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated
  • Schedule will be Monday – Friday mainly from 8:30– 5:30 pm based at Plantation FL, however the intern should have flexibility to work some days in the field in different schedules (PM shift, AM shift) and mobility to work in Miami, Doral and Miami Gardens
LANGUAGE: Fluent English
