Position Purpose
Business Development Intern provides vital support to the Arcamed Business Development team. They handle important administrative tasks and act as an extension of the BD team with Arcamed’s growing customer base. The Business Development Intern provides a reliable point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective communication. An efficient Business Development Intern contributes to quality customer service and helps Arcamed stay focused on its mission.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • The Business Development Intern will communicate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer queries. Accuracy of information and ensuring an exemplary customer experience are also prudent.
  • The Business Development Intern will maintain sales records and update customer records in the CRM to ensure data entry, existing data, and weekly reports are up to date.
  • The Business Development intern helps to coordinate meetings and associated travel, as well as taking on a variety of tasks to support sales representatives when they are in the field. They handle incoming calls and email correspondence, alerting reps to any urgent issues.
  • The Business Development intern will assist with customer problems or complaints, gathering pertinent information for the sales representatives and managers to have a complete picture of the customers’ interactions with the company.
Required Education and Experience
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, or another relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills required.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Responsible for communicating cross-departmentally and with customers. Because of this, proper communication and grammar skills are required.
