What you'll do:
This position is writing and research intensive and will be part of a team that composes, reviews, tracks, works with subject matter experts to establish accurate procedural processes, and communicates policy, procedure, and forms development, review, and revision for the department to include:
Coordinate the design, revision, or development of department and institutional services, policies, procedures, and forms.
Conduct research and collect inter-agency feedback regarding procedures and forms.
Manage multiple project procedures at once in various states ensuring procedures are reviewed by subject matter experts to ensure process information is accurate.
Communicate with all levels of staff regarding procedural development and review processes.
Provide subject matter information and status updates as needed to work group administrators and executive staff members.
Serve as a notary.
Keep current an electronic filing system of procedures and forms information.
Respond to inquiries from all staff members, the Attorney General's Office, and the public regarding procedures and forms information and sunshine requests.
Assist with basic office management duties to ensure unit work is covered in a staff member's absence.
Assist with bi-annual institutional procedure and forms coordinator meetings.
Keep up-to-date all desk reference documents.
Maintain numerous logs for tracking purposes.
Update distribution lists to ensure proper communications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred three or more years of experience in a corrections/law enforcement setting involving the analysis and/or development of methods, policies and procedures and forms, AND possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university which includes credit hours in English, Written Communications or a closely related field may substitute for 2 years of experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours per year).
