Marketing & Communications Intern
Position Summary: Looking for fun interesting work that helps support our community? Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) is looking for a team player to help us with our marketing and communications. Are you looking for an internship to develop your skills AND provide you with important and valuable connections? The ONC is a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a positive difference across our Ozaukee County community.
Reports to: Executive Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
Intern will assist the Executive Director with general marketing and office management tasks such as:
- Preparing monthly email newsletters and event email blasts
- Preparing social media posts for the ONC social media channels
- Liking and helping to promote ONC partners, affiliates, and members on social media channels
- Maintaining website content and images
- Maintaining databases, mailing lists & vital records
- Assist with graphic design work
- Assist with preparation of other potential events
- Write press releases and work with community press
- Take photos at various programs and events for use in marketing materials
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorms
- Create videos and promotion materials for ONC (including partner, affiliate, and member agencies)
- Helping with general office functions including mass mailing, meeting preparation, office maintenance and other projects as assigned
Hours: Hours are flexible, based on availability (up to 20 hours per week)
