Global Fisheries Project Manager

Global Fisheries Project Manager
The Nature Conservancy has decades of experience working directly on-the-ground in the regions we operate in to implement marine conservation, fisheries management, and sustainable seafood projects. We use science-based approaches that incorporate multi-stakeholder input into solutions that benefit nature and people. We are skilled at building diverse and inclusive partnerships to create regionally appropriate solutions that are accessible, actionable, and measurable. Our capacity building and long-view approach ensures outputs live beyond the life of our engagements. This enables us to scale solutions, taking the lessons learned and best practices from our various projects to improve upon them and deliver tangible, hopeful alternatives to business-as-usual declines.
The Global Fisheries Project Manager for the Conservancy’s Large-Scale Fisheries Program will lead the development, implementation, and management of key strategic initiatives. The Project Manager will work across an interdisciplinary team of Conservancy staff, contractors, government partners, and industry to develop, promote and support the execution of innovative approaches and solutions to achieve the ecological and socioeconomic sustainability of global fisheries and the coastal communities they support. This versatile, multidisciplinary position will work closely with collaborators across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and Europe.
