Accounting and Finance Intern

About the Role

We are searching for an Indy based Finance & Accounting intern to join our General & Administrative team and gain valuable experience working in a growing, B2B SaaS startup. This role will be part-time, ideally up to 20 hours per week. Candidates in Indiana will be strongly preferred. This role is hybrid and will be expected to work out of our office in Broad Ripple at least one day per week. Hours may vary; however, there will need to be some working hours during normal business hours of 8 to 5 PM EST, Mon-Fri.  


Duties/Responsibilities

  • As an Accounting and Finance Intern, you'll get practical, hands-on experience and exposure to all functions of our Finance & Accounting function
  • Exposure to daily and monthly accounting processes
  • AP/AR invoicing, filing, ledger entries
  • Processing, recording, updating, and reconciling financial information in compliance with established policies
  • Record receipts and payments
  • Perform general ledger operations as needed
  • Assist the Sr. Director of Finance with forecasting, budgets, and additional responsibilities as necessary

Experience/Education/Skills

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking program in business, accounting, or finance
  • Understanding of advanced spreadsheet manipulations and formulas
  • Great numerical and analytical skills\
  • Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, or other accounting functions preferred but not required
