Position Description:
 
Automation Jr. Developer will design and develop automation solutions with a focus on delivering high-quality process automations in a timely manner. This includes defining, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting all automation solutions including but not limited to robotic process automation tools.
The purpose of this position is to develop and deliver intelligent process automation for Digital Workforce Solution. Digital Workforce Solution team is responsible for providing automation solutions using robotics process automation software and other automation solutions. 

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Complete all robotic process automation development training as directed by Lead Architect
  • Partner with Automation Process Analyst to review process documents to ensure all process steps can be automated and all documentation is complete
  • Participate in various types of interviews, meetings, or workshops to define, design, and configure automation solutions
  • Create the Process Definition Document (PDD) for completeness and review with Lead Architect
  • Create the Solution Design Document (SDD) as part of development of automated solution
  • Develop intelligent process automations using provided automation software including robotic process automation
  • Execute test scripts (bots) for each sprint validation to ensure development is meeting business expectations
  • Participates in the problem identification/error resolution process, including tracking, repairing and reporting defects
  • Support all team shared learning sessions and team meetings

Preferred Skills:

  •  Track record of working on projects to success within established timelines and budgets
  •  Exposure to performance measurement, continuous improvement (Lean / Six-Sigma)
  •  Ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead participant
  •  Exposure to performance measurement and continuous improvement (Lean / Six-Sigma)
  •  Experience working with third-party service providers is a plus
  •  Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  •  Excellent interpersonal communications skills; able to effectively communicate and build relationships with end users, peers, management and third parties
  •  Ability to prioritize, schedule and complete development and testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules
  •  Strong verbal and written communications skills
