The Boeing Strategy and Corporate Development team is seeking candidates for a summer internship. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of initiatives in support of Boeing’s Strategy and Corp Dev (SCD) priorities. Some of the intern responsibilities will include supporting research and strategic planning activities across a multi-billion dollar business and working with cross functional project teams focusing on developing strategy to action plans. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Interns will work individually and within project teams made up of fellow strategy personnel, functional / technical experts and specific business unit representatives focused on the most important opportunities and issues to the Company.
Successful candidate must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment. The intern candidate will work under general supervision and receive specific instructions for special assignments.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Documenting general information related to customer business, culture, issues and concerns, requirements and economic and environmental influences. 
  • Perform analysis of information about competitors' products and services to develop a solid understanding of competitor activities and improve our competitive position. 
  • Support preparation of executive-quality strategy presentations.
Some of these position allow telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Some of these positions have been identified as virtual opportunities and do not require applicants to live in close proximity to a Boeing facility.
Some of these positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Some of these positions may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Some of these positions must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2022
  • Currently an enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2022
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above)
  • MBA candidates or Masters in related disciplines preferred
  • Previous internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career with Boeing 
  • The ability to telecommute
  • The ability to relocate and work onsite
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office products in creating documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication skills, adaptability, decision-making skills, analytical skills, and teaming abilities.
  • General business skills, ability to apply business principles, methods, and processes to solve problems.

Summary pay range: Min: $32,000 – Max: $74,000
