Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)

Front Desk Position
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to verifying insurance benefits for patients, posting billing charges from therapists, posting patient payments and scheduling patients.
75% Front Desk Responsibilities
  • Schedule and rescheduling appointments for multiple providers
  • A friendly face to greet parents and patients entering organization
  • Answer multi-line telephone, screen, and direct calls
  • Faxing and receiving physician orders
  • Reviewing new evaluation paperwork
  • Setting up new referrals
  • Receive insurance information and make copies of card
  • Prepare letters and documents
  • Schedule meeting times for staff and management
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
25% Billing Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry Skills
  • Computer/Software Experience
  • Customer Services skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Insurance Related Experience a Plus!
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of platinum customer service principles and practices and being able to apply them
  • Keyboard skills
