Hourly Software Engineer
The Software and Systems teams within the GlobalNOC (http://globalnoc.iu.edu) at Indiana University are currently looking for ambitious and hardworking individuals willing to roll up their sleeves to join our team. We are currently seeking computer science or equivalent majors to help with the development and management of our many complex software systems which are deployed across the country and facilitate the efficient operation of highly complex high capacity research networks across the United states and beyond.
Get real world experience in working on highly distributed software and systems; which provide essential functionality to the research and education community. We have a wide set of software products that we write, manage, and support across many different Linux systems. Our software and systems are built primarily to support high availability networking environments where you will be able to hone your skills working on complex software and systems in a team-oriented environment.
Desired Experience:
- HTML
- JavaScript
- Restful Webservices
- Relational Database (preferably Mysql/MariaDB)
- Linux OS familiarity
- Scripting
- Unit Testing
