Omnichannel Delivery Operations - Summer Associate (Remote)

Large Product Fulfillment Operations is directly responsible for delivering operational improvements, providing field support, oversight of system’s needs, and for building the strategic plan for future growth. Large Product Fulfillment Operations supports both Best Buy’s internal workforce and multiple third-party partners/vendors. Large Product Fulfillment Operations is directly responsible for delivering multiple transformational initiatives supporting Large Product category growth and for driving the best possible in-home delivery customer experience
The Omnichannel Delivery Operations Summer intern will provide support across the entire Large Product Fulfilment Operations team. Responsibilities will include: 
  • Assist in routing efficiency optimization in partnership with Business Technology Operations and LPF Operations.  
  • Partnership with routing and dispatch team to create news way of maximizing quality, speed, and efficiency.
  • Cross function collaboration with supply chain operations and delivery pad operations to evaluate improvement for third party labor length of day
  • Work within the team to interpret and apply functional knowledge of concepts, principles, best practices, and trends to support a wide array of business situations that emerge and that require a solution. 
  • Connect with 3rd party vendors to understand routing impacts on the delivery teams working in customers’ homes daily.
  • Engage with Digital and Technology team to learn about future routing software RFP and apply those learning to the current application
  • Work with the field leadership team to gain understanding of the successes and challenges of the current operating model of the Routing and Dispatch team in support of the delivery business and customer obsession.

Required Skills and Experience:  
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited college/university, graduating between Fall 2022 and Spring 2025 
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered) 
  • Have interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be curious and have confidence to leverage personal experience as a consumer to challenge ideas and perspectives
