Human Resources Intern

Ultra is seeking to hire an Human Resources Intern to support our Human Resources function. The HR Intern in this role will be responsible for assisting HRBP's with various projects and updating of employee records, editing HR policies and documents, assisting with onboarding, coaching/counseling, training, recruiting, benefits, safety, and employee engagement activities.

The person in this role will be an entry level professional with limited work experience but with applicable education (working towards a degree in HR, business, or related field), learning skills to perform routine tasks as prescribed and with little autonomy. Works under clearly defined procedures and with close supervision.
Required Skills
  • Rising Senior or Junior pursuing a college degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • High proficiency (or 1+ years of experience in) in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and an aptitude for learning new software packages.
  • This position requires US Citizenship to access our facility

Desired Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a peer team.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to execute impromptu speeches/presentations in a captivating way. Written narrative and telephone skills a must.
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate
