Business Development Representative

About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented sales professional to play a crucial role within our sales team, while developing a long-term career. This office-based role will be responsible for prospecting-to-demo sales activities. RBS has a mature sales process and support model that includes an onboarding plan, continuing education, and consistent mentorship that will enable the candidate to quickly build a pipeline and achieve results.


Responsibilities:

  • Research, call mapping, and profiling of target accounts within your assigned area
  • Generate demo bookings through outbound cold calling, lead follow-up, email and a variety of other contact methods
  • Interaction with key technology partners in conjunction with the sales team
  • Daily and weekly reporting via use of internal systems
  • Identification of key buying influences within target accounts
  • Ability to create and qualify interest in solving specific business challenges
  • Ability to connect leads to potential solutions
  • Support of marketing and sales campaigns
  • Manage time and activity appropriately to reach goals
  • Conversational knowledge of cybersecurity solutions related to enterprise organizations


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Highly proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Results oriented personality
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adjust client facing personas to connect with potential leads
  • Comfort with learning and applying technology related terminology
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with fellow team members
  • Ability to ask questions, listen and gain peer’s confidence
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members and leadership
  • Desire to achieve efficiency and constantly evaluate processes for improvement
  • Experience using Customer Relations Management (CRM) tools
  • Familiarity with professional sales concepts and methodologies like social or consultative selling
  • Strong work ethic


Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain or related field
  • 1-3 years of marketing or sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to motivate others
