PhD Statistician
Data & Modeling Sciences is seeking a PhD Statistician for our Ivorydale Technical center in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate must apply mastery in Statistics, Data Science, deliver game-changing technology-driven mathematical models for development of innovative new products and processes. Create new algorithms, statistical models to measure the impact of product, package, commercial, lab experiments and other innovation choices on consumer preferences and purchase decisions to guide investment choices. Enable better decision-making through the ability to mine data coupled with the development and application of advanced analytics and algorithms to derive actionable insights, and then translate those insights into actions that improve business results. Actively research best-in-class in experimental designs and leveraging ideas from quality control to help the business create and validate better test methods. Be imaginative and creative with an eagerness to track and contribute to the latest developments in modeling and to envision application possibilities of emerging technologies in data science & machine learning. Has broad project responsibilities to co-create and influence the strategic direction of the research work to be done and can direct the Data & Modeling Sciences technical work on the assigned projects and lead cross-Job teams as needed.

Job Qualifications
Must possess a PhD in statistics, Biostatistics, mathematics, or a closely related field and consulting experience in design of experiments and model development. Experience must include design of experiments, definition of model requirement, development of model specification, implementation of the specification in simulation environments, and verification and validation of models.  Discrete choice models, machine learning, data mining, optimization, simulation, and predictive modeling, are desirable skills in this role.
