Mid-Level Sys Integr, Ver & Validation Level 3

The B-52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP) is seeking an experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer to join our Systems Integration Laboratory team in Oklahoma City. In this role, the successful candidate with be providing support for development of the RMP SILs as well as provide oversight in the areas of Electronic Warfare integration and overall RMP Labs RIO management. The RADAR SIL laboratories to be used for software development, integration and testing.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES      
Duties will include but not limited to:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify system and subsystem requirements.
Develops system test plans and creates requirement verification links to test procedures in DOORS.
Works with multi-disciplinary team to track progress of system development and availability to support test activities.
Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
Applies systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of system of systems, systems and new product development.
Assists with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
Resolves cross-functional technical issues
Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.                                                                               

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and 5 or more years' experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Systems Engineering principles
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Radar systems development and test
  • Experience with electronic warfare integration
  • Experience with BORIS

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
